Hey folks, my favorite of my [livejournal.com profile] sosodirty fics is going up today!~*~ So you should definitely check it out :DDD

Framed to bend
Bob/Gerard (some Gerard/Brian, past Bob/Frank), NC-17, ~7k
Prompt: Being given to another dom, written for [livejournal.com profile] sosodirty

"My reason is not framed to bend or stoop: my knees are." -Michael Eyquem de Montaigne

Bob lets Brian talk him into "petsitting" Gerard.

Warnings: D/s, BDSM, toys

Beta'd by [livejournal.com profile] julesmania. This is for you, panda ♥

"It’s just like taking care of a cat, man, but easier. Give him a place to sleep, smack him around some. He doesn’t cause trouble."

Also! I'm going home for the weekend :DDDD to see my lil' sister's play, so I'll be around late at night tonight and tomorrow, but probably not much during the day :) HOME!
mwestbelle: (Default)
Step One

- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real life things (not fics or icons), make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My wishlist )

In other news, my pinky nail is half split waaaaay far down (accursed mailboxes ;__;), so I don't want to just tear it off, but it HURTS and makes it difficult to type/wash my hair/EVERYTHING DDDD: I'm also at home \o/ and totally totally irredeemably behind on Nano /o\ My secret rationalization is that I was totally far ahead all through last year and...I got bored and quit at 28k. So I'm gonna say that now I still have FIRE UNDER ME to finish >_> Also, my sister's current favorite song? Headfirst Slide, fuckyeahhh biznatches! That's how it's done!

Still living it up with the homelife...yesterday Mom and I had a ~Lady Date~. We went to Cheesecake Factory and browsed around the mall, where I picked up How Not To Write a Novel, which is both hilarious and should be helpful in the upcoming (OMG NEXT) month of Nanowrimo (speaking of, dayum, I should probably throw something up over at [livejournal.com profile] bandonano) which is both exciting and terrifying and mostly exciting. Watched Dancing With the Stars, and today, despite my best intentions to work on my play, I watched a couple episodes of SGA, a Pushing Daisies (new episode in 40 minutes, tralala!), and dicked around on the internet. A lot. Whoops~

Trying to work on the nunfic, and...it's coming along okay? I think? Here's the first paragraph, for your preview pleasure.

Talking to Sister Mary Peter always left Gerard humming “How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria?”, although he’s fairly certain Julie Andrews never cussed out the archbishop. Still, despite her loud laugh, rough voice, and brash nature, Mary Peter--Gerard only ever called her Mary Peter in his head, because she’d promised him that if he didn’t just call her Pete she “didn’t care if he wasn’t using his balls for anything, I’ll rip those suckers off anyway”--was a good nun. It wasn’t about how many tattoos she had (several, each of which less becoming a woman of her position than the last, all the way down to the bat on her belly), or her tendency to burst out laughing during hymns at something one of her kids had said three days ago; she was devoted, and she was an angel with the troubled children who came to youth group’s at Our Lady of Sorrows. All she had to do was shove up the sleeves of the less-than-sisterly hoodie she wore over simple dark clothes to show off her tattoos, and they listened--not all of them, and most of them not all that well, but more than they would have listened to Gerard (he didn’t have any physical marks of what he’d been through) or any of the other sisters. She made a difference and that, he thought, was what she wanted--what made her turn her back to screaming onstage and pills for daytimes, nighttime, and any time in between and got her to trade in skinny jeans for her habit (although not even the Mother Superior would dream of trying to get her offensively colored hoodies away from her).

I'm home :) And I know Haitlin Disdainbrook and Quickdraw McPee are desperate to know about my break (Clairebear, I may have spent entirely too much time thinking about reconstruction yesterday >_> )

Friday brought really really awesomely fun car rides (I threw up! Twice! Once in a McDonald's cup!), and actually fun family times. We had cheeseburgers, and somehow ended up playing Bunco. Saturday was a lazy day, I went out for Chinese with my beffie and then watched a shit ton of ANTM, and then Iron Man. Yesterday I went to have spaghetti at my grandma's, and Juj and I watched Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, which we watch every time we go down. Today I watched more ANTM and started watching SGA on my laptop (they have SO MUCH good porn, and hey, I might as well make the best of the fast, wireless internet while I have it, right?)

Tomorrow is Mom and my "date" day, we might go lunch at Cheesecake Factory and swan around the mall for a while. And I'll get started on my play and things will be smashing. :D

I am feeling remarkably better after (a) actually getting out and DOING SOMETHING today (even if it was just classsss) and (b) Mummy e-mailing me to invite me to come home *this* weekend instead...which will actually be even better than the original plan since Mummy & Juju will actually be there (they were supposed to leave for FL last Friday) and she said she'll buy me Uno's! ♥ I'm smiling, which is lovely. I get into a funk so seldom that when I do, it's Deep Funk (and not the Atomic Dog kind of funk) (omg I make bad jokes, I must be feeling better)

In other news: after [livejournal.com profile] mxfic flailed about kissing booths (KISSING BOOTHS) and Gerard working one (KISSING BOOTHS) it stuck in my mind and I have now agreed to write a Mikey the reluctant A/V Club kissing booth kid at the school carnival (the cheerleaders usually run it! but they decided to do a bikini'd car wash or something equally skanky instead! and a/v club always gets assigned whatever is left since they don't actually go to the carnival meetings! and it's usually like, fleabitten beanbag toss or whatever, only this year it was KISSING BOOTHLOLLL) meets Pete the semi-sleazy kissing booth customer (he graduated already! but he likes to come back and kiss underage kids for a buck because it gives him lulz! and also patrick is in a/v club, he's SUPPORTING THE CAUSE OKAY?) (patrick refused to work the kissing booth and no one argues with the rage of patrick) And...I sorta just told you the entire fic right there, but whatev. The actual one will have kissing (and maybe illustration o__O)

Besides that....still madly in love with Pushing Daisies, but out of episodes to watch, woe! Need a laughing/joy icon (preferably bandom) and should actually try to write something and not just wander the internet allllll day. I also have homework (more's the pity) but. Hmph.

ETA: Woo, EW is delivering for me! PStump last week and Panic this week! You are populating the inside of my shelf with beautiful boys, my dear magazine. Plz do a ginormous feature on MCR next week and I will forgive you your ridiculously off-kilter gradings.

If you were in my house right now you would be having the THRILLING experience of hearing me wail along with TBP at the TOP OF MY LUNGS, YES. Having a house all to yourself (well, and the dog) is so much more awesome than dorm rooms \o/

I was trying to think of something vaguely interesting to post about while I don't have any new fic to share, and I figured most of you don't know my Sweet Bandom Connections Yo, so I could tell you about those.

Andy Hurley Andy is my closest link to bandom...we have the same hometown and he still lives here. Of course, I am also bound to despise him because he went to the rival high school argggh (I live on literally the last lot in the town, so I went to high school at HHS and he went to FHS, curses!) Also, PWentz has visited him and was seen at my movie theater of choice (not by me, more's the pity)

Chicago Area Okay, so I live in the hometown of Mr. Hurley, but I was born and lived the first 8 years of my life in the Chicago suburbs, right near where pretty much the entire Chicago scene is from. I used to drive through Bill Beckett's hometown on my way to ballet lessons, and I lived about fifteen minutes away from where most of those boys are from.

HOW SWEET IS THAT SHIT \o/ Haha, lamesauce, I know, but I have to share somewhere, because every time RL people start the "Famous People" storytime, I'm always just like "um, the drummer from FOB is in my town" and everyone goes "...FOB sux" and I make this face: T___T

But...writing queue is as follows:
1. AU of SHAME ([livejournal.com profile] thelemic was supposed to talk me out of it! Blame her!)
2. HS Waycest for [livejournal.com profile] thelemic
3. Frank/Gerard weddingfic for [livejournal.com profile] unphoenix
4. Frank/Gerard arts AU for...uh...me <3

I wanted to close this entry with a sexy Gerardface, but I CANNOT CHOOSE BECAUSE GUHHHHH WHY SO HOTTT RECENTLY (AND ALSO ALWAYSSS)???

So....

O hai there, good morning, no, I wasn't up until 2:30 writing 1700s gay underage vampire incest. Why would you think that? ([livejournal.com profile] thelemic, you are my favorite forever, srsly. PS: I'll be on early afternoon ~2 and then probably not until late so...see you then <3)

I am SOOO HAPPY because I finished Doom Paper II yesterday before dinner (I just came home from class, unplugged my internet cable and hammered it out. I hope it's what the prof is looking for, since it's kind of different from other papers, but *shrug* Nothing I can do now) and thus got to enjoy an entire evening of LOOOOOST (OMGOMGOMG) and gay underage vampire incest err, knitting socks for orphans with NO GUILT WHEE. I have to go and print my paper (Doom Paper I) before American Lit...which I'm reeeeeally hoping he's going to cancel, because I don't know how many people are going to show up. Then I'll swing back to the library and print Doom Paper II on the way back to the dorm where I will hang around before going to Script Analysis and handing in Doom Paper II. I plan to doodle two certain chiiildren (kisses, sweethearts, you'll see the light of day soon) and pretend to pay attention to Chekov before PACKING BECAUSE I'M GOING HOME TONIGHT FOLKS. Yayy!

Slight shifts in my writing queue...I'm planning to get the (Shameful) Bunny That Ate My Brain and my CW short story (which I could probably repurpose as a bandom story if I have time) done over break. Well, definitely CW cuz it's due when I get back, but hopefully Shame Bunny will get a chance too. Then the HS Waycest, then the weddingfic, and probably arts school after that? With the other ones floating around in the ether somewhere, waiting to strike.

ALSO: Layouts. I want a pretty one and I phail epically at coding and don't even know how to install one I've downloaded (and I can't seem to find one I want anyway). Halp?

AND: I kind of really want to do a pornomeme because...they're kinda super amazing. Would you folks be hip to that (aka be willing to participate so I don't feel like an utter failure .___.)??
mwestbelle: (blogging)
I am sitting at my kitchen table in the fading light, wearing my Salvador Dali t-shirt and a hoodie while my sister tries to woo our printer into actually spitting out her lab report next to several buckets because oh hai, one of the beams in our kitchen is leaking, with my new original fic piece open in one window and bandslash in the other.

I have never felt more like a college student. Weird.

I'm really excited to watch last night's Project Runway...we had to tape it because Juju has to go to bed at 9 for her to even live in the morning. And you know she wakes up at ass o'clock, since I have yet to be woken up by her pre-school ritual and I know from fifteen years of living with her that she stomps around like a drunken elephant. A surly drunken elephant.

But it's all cool, I've got an actual universe that I'm setting my new piece in instead of just a handful of characters which is neat (it's basically outwardly Victorianesque while the underground is all 20s--strip clubs and gangs). It's nice to have writing to do. I like writing. And I picked up a prompt for [livejournal.com profile] bandslash_kink, so hopefully I won't embarrass myself at that.

Went to Target today and did some holiday shopping, still need to order something for my Hilmuffin but I don't go back until mid-January, so I have some time. I love having time.

So, I am at long last home from school <333 So happy.  Seeing my hometown, and my house, and my PUPPY again has been simply amazing.  Along with eating actual food with actual meat in it (Dear Commons: I don't know who told you that stuff was meat, but they were a lying WHORE. Love, Me)

Today I am off to the grandparental's for...homemade chicken noodle soup <3333  There is so much joy going on right now, I can't contain it.  (Although I'm definitely home...I already got tagteamed about my plans for the visit as well as (wtf?) my courses for the rest of my college career (uh...okay then).

Non-joy note:  Al Gore?  Please.  Yes, let's reward overstuffed politicians (with GREASY HAIR) and their rampant misinformation over people who actually risk their lives for peace.  Ah well, everyone knows the only Nobel prizes worth anything are the science ones.
mwestbelle: (axel)
So...the electricity randomly went out in random parts of my school (the computer labs, the bathrooms, a couple classrooms??) so...school's out! Yay! I was worried for a while, but apparently (a) we do NOT have to make this up and (b)the theater is on a different circuit, so there's no issue with Parent's Night for Music Man tonight.

Yeah, I haven't been seeing much of my home lately, what with rehearsals until 10 every night >.< But I think everything will probably come together (with the exception of a few lamebrains who probably can't walk and breathe at the same time), and the leads are good, and that's what *really* matters, much as I, always the chorus girl never the diva, hate to admit it. My costume kicks ass though. Hopefully I'll have a few pics for my Facebook...it has a bustle, and a HUGE Bo-Peep bonnet. Pretty sweet.

Getting really hyped up for the whole "college, not being in high school" anymore thing. I've made a friend on Facebook who will also be a freshman, so I'm feeling a little more comfortable with the whole thing. Also starting to roleplay (Harry Potter and (hopefully) Red Eye) on LJ, which I've never done, but am very excited about. I'm still holding onto the dream of operating my own roleplay someday, but...yeah, I'd need a plot. >.<

Well, home. Going to eat, hang out online and watch TV. Maybe get some actual writing done (for once.)
