My friend Ellen works in Admissions, so she takes a lot of calls from parents and prospective students, and today, she had the best phonecall ever. This mom called and was like "Hi, my son and I visited a few weeks ago, and I had a question that I didn't want to ask while he was there." Turns out her son is gay, and he wasn't able to come out at his high school, and she was calling to see if he would fit in and be happy at Beloit. &awesomemoms;
