Last night was the most INTENSE Monopoly game of my ENTIRE LIFE. FIVE HOURS. SHOUTING, SUICIDE, STRIPPERS AND TROPHY BOYS WIVES. It was awesome. A++, would play again.

Unfortunately, I was sitting half on a matress on the floor, so my lower back and tailbone are KILLING ME NOW, plus I had ballroom dance this morning, with rumba and HIP ACTION OW. But now I'm back in my room, and it's time for...more picspam! (Very Gerard-heavy)

"Yeah, me neither," Gerard agrees, finally getting up to hunt around for his pants (they're a surprising distance across the room), sliding them on before dropping back down onto the bed. "C'mon, Frank, you can't go to the bus stop naked."

"Can so." Frank let his elbows slide apart until his nose was pressing into the sheets. "No one would even give you a second look if someone was going around naked, right?" And putting on clothes required sitting up, and standing up, and well, putting on clothes. And once they were on, that meant another bus stop and another long, boring bus ride.

"No," Gerard agrees, looking amused. "They'd be too busy arresting you for indecent exposure." His shirt is closer to the bed, and he can reach it by leaning over the edge, pulling it on. They still have about a half hour before Frank actually has to get dressed, but Gerard has a feeling that he's going to take a while doing it.

Frank doesn't look up before he speaks, and his voice is half-muffled by the mattress. "But it would look really awesome when they write books about me, won't it? After years of meticulous crime, Frank Iero was finally brought to justice due to his propensity for public nudity?"

"I'd rather you didn't get brought to justice yet," Gerard says dryly, getting up and finding Frank's pants, tossing them onto the bed. "And anyway, can you have a propensity for something you've only done once?" He hopes, anyway--not that he'd be too surprised if Frank had gone around naked before, but still.

"You know those true crime assholes." Reluctant, Frank sits up and grabs for his pants. "They'd totally make it sound like I had to be wrestled into clothes, another example, you know, of my deviant mind." He tries to put on his jeans without actually getting off the bed, to moderate success.

Gerard has to laugh, because Frank has a point; Frank had something of a frightening library of true crime books, almost rivalling Gerard's comics collection, back when they lived together, and most were nothing if not sensational. "They'd have a field day with the biting," he points out, thoughtfully.

"Oh god." Frank wrinkles his nose, pushing his hips up off the bed so he can tug his jeans up. "You know half of them would be like, 'Frank Iero had only nine fingers, because one of them was bitten off in the throes of wild kinky sex!'" He rolls his eyes, and wonders if Gerard will get him his shirt if he pouts.

"I promise I'll never bite your finger off," Gerard says cheerily, considering other things that the books would come up with (he doesn't even want to consider what they'd do with the whole blood thing, or how he'd be brought into it in general) and Frank doesn't even need to pout, because Gerard tosses him his shirt a moment later.

Frank pulls the shirt on, struggling inside for a little while, and gives Gerard a blissful look when his face emerges again. "That's the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me, Gee. Thank you so much." Part of him would love for books to be written about him, but then he remembers that he'd have to be caught for that to happen, and that's not something he's looking forward to.

Gerard just grins at him. "Really? I'm honoured." He looks at the clock, weighing their options, because they've got a half hour before the bus comes and they're maybe five minutes from the bus stop. "Do you want to go now and wait there or stick around here?"

"I kind of really want to see if the people next door are still here, say good morning." Frank grins, tucking his knees up to his chest. "Does that make me a bad person?"

"Yes," Gerard informs him, trying to keep a straight face. "Terrible." He can imagine the looks on their faces (why his mind made them middle-aged and frumpy, he doesn't know) and it's too much; he bursts out laughing.

"That'd be so fucking sweet," Frank sighs and finally stands, wandering to find his shoes. The right one is easy enough, but the left seems determined to evade him. "Think Brian will like your new look?"

Gerard pulls on his socks, huffing out a sigh (because they're a little damp, probably from when he was walking around in the woods, he suspects). "He--probably. He kept telling me to get it cut. I think he was afraid that I was accidentally going to set it on fire." Therein lying the problem with lighting cigarettes with his hair in his face (and it was worse when he was drunk, to be sure).

Frank snickers a little, and gives a little victory cry when he finds his other shoe halfway behind the bathroom door. "Dude, stop giving more material to the true crimers. My boyfriend is some kind of deranged pyromaniac?"

Gerard snorts. "It's more trying to light my cigarettes and less pyromania," he says, yanking on a shoe without bothering to untie it. "Though I'm sure the whole 'former alcoholic' thing doesn't work in your favor either."

"Well, obviously I'm such a deranged lunatic that I would draw a sad, broken man to my bosom and make you dependent on scraps of my affection so I can twist your mind and make you my obedient loveslave." Frank grumbles a little when the knot of his shoelaces refuses to yield.

"That's not bad," Gerard says speculatively. "Maybe you could write the book on yourself--make it under a penname and claim exclusive hidden sources." Of course, he hasn't forgotten that the world thinks he's the deranged psychopath, so any books would be on him, not Frank.

"Nah, I'm an idea man. I can't write for shit." Fully dressed at last, Frank glances at the clock--10:40--and sighs. "I guess we have to actually start heading to the buses now."

Gerard looks around, picking up his coat from the corner by the door and shrugging it on. "Yeah, let's go." He's glad it's early enough in the day to wear sunglasses, just one more thing to make him less recognisable.

Frank's really impressed with Gerard's transformation--with the glasses and hair, he's practically unrecognizable to the layman. They don't have to slink around half as much when Franks goes to buy the tickets, and they get on the bus without much fanfare. Frank leans back in the seat, already bored to tears.

"It's not gonna be that long, dude. Just go back to sleep," Gerard says in a low voice, but he freezes. A few seats up, there's a group of people talking, and he hears his name in their conversation, unmistakably. He gives Frank a panicked look.

Frank reaches over to grab Gerard's hand, squeezing a little. Calm down. Just stay calm and it will be fine. He tenses, listening as best he can over the rumble of the engine, catching half-sentences.

"--fucking sicko, I mean, god. Have you read this?"

Gerard's eyes are almost comically wide, looking at Frank out of the corner of his eye. You did what? He knows there's definitely some sensationalism at work, but then again he's never asked Frank much in the way of details.
