Supersupersuper excited because this Saturday, I'm going to go see...Body Worlds!

I will probably be squicked beyond belief and also totally enraptured, it's going to own. This is the exhibition's last weekend at my museum...a bunch of kids from Juj's school went on field trips there this week and she was deeply jealous. Sooo, I said "Hey, I'd go with you, ask Mom" and so Juj, Dad and I are going to be rocking it out with the plasticined (I READ A BOOK ABOUT THIS BUT IT WAS A LONG TIME AGO I MAY HAVE MADE UP THAT WORD) dead people.

Writing-wise, I just keep sinking deeeper and deeeeeper into a hole :(

Oh man, one of my roommates and her boyfriend invited me to go see that exhibit with them today in Mobile. I was seriously considering it but 1) I overslept and 2) I probably would've backed out anyway. Idk! Just the fact that they are REAL BODIES makes me kinda nervous. DDD:

No, Body Worlds is the exhibit with the REAL ACTUAL DEAD BODIES STRIPPED OF SKIN AND PUMPED FULL OF PLASTICKYSTUFF. It's all biological and fascinating.

like...they take dead people. and then they...what? what is this plasticky stuff. do the bodies look like skeletons? or just bones? you're going to be walking around all day looking at dead people? i dont understand and its making me lose my punctuation and capitalization abilities.

They strip off the skin, so it's down to the muscles...they inject the plasticky stuff into their veins to preserve them? So it's like cross-sections and stuff except it's real bodies.

I haven't actually written much of? I was commentficcing with blushandrecover and we did a few lines and she went "GO WRITE PORN!"

So...there's definitely powerplays involved, because Brian is a control freak. What started the whole thing was me saying thisss:

I am seeing a struggle for awesomeness. And like, powerplay within the relationship? Like, they lie in hotelbed together and Brian's all "What? You want my boys on your show? Blow me. No, seriously, do it."

Hee. Chris and I do a lot of ficcing over AIM (we have a whole comm for it, in fact ^_~)...we're trying out googledocs for the Viking AU, because stripping timestamps is really not fun, but we're probably gonna be sticking with our usual in the future.

Generally we each write a character, sometimes we tradeoff paragraphs? It usually just starts with us being randomly cracky, and then turns into porn. kinkninjas is our comm (it's in mah sidebar :D) and we don't have a lot up right now because most of what we've written is in capslock which is a BITCH, let me tell you :\

Do you go back and try to smooth it out to make it sound more cohesive, like one voice? Does the process end up being a lot like roleplay? Do you plot it out before you start or do you just start and see where it goes? I have so many questions! D:

Our writing voices are pretty similar? We kind of adapt to each other as we're writing and it's definitely a lot like roleplaying. And plotting wise depends on the fic. Sometimes we have a basic idea of what we want, sometimes we squee about plot developments and scenes before we start, sometimes one of us just goes "Hay, we should write underage Waycest bloodplay sometime" and end up just going for it. (A lot of the time we try to tell each other about a plotbunny and end up writing it together right then *facepalm*)

Different people do it differently? A lot of people write in googledocs together, but Chris and I have had issues with...well, mostly with my tendency to go spinning off on my own when unrestrained by an IM box >_> When I was younger I used to do "round robin" style with a friend, with alternating chapters.
