Also, I have so much respect for Gerard Way it's ridiculous. I sometimes think that if I ever met him I'd just spend all my time looking at him and thinking "I am not worthy, I am not worthy" over and over again.
As for bandom at the Olympics...I can tell you that the Way brothers got into equestrian together, because it was the closest Mikey could get to unicorns, and Gerard just loves animals. (Sometimes he thinks he can talk to his horse, too. They have a special bond.) Brendon and Ryan are synchronised divers, and Spencer is their coach. They bicker fairly frequently - they totally don't have the whole stoic diver thing going on - and Spencer spends a lot of his time being exasperated with them, but when they actually dive, they're nearly perfect every time.
Frank is a kayaker, because he needed to channel all his energy into something insane, and it definitely works out well for him. Every single one of the Cobras is abnormally good at fencing, and they're so far above and beyond the rest of the competition people are torn between suspicion and fear.
