Last night was the most INTENSE Monopoly game of my ENTIRE LIFE. FIVE HOURS. SHOUTING, SUICIDE, STRIPPERS AND TROPHY BOYS WIVES. It was awesome. A++, would play again.

Unfortunately, I was sitting half on a matress on the floor, so my lower back and tailbone are KILLING ME NOW, plus I had ballroom dance this morning, with rumba and HIP ACTION OW. But now I'm back in my room, and it's time for...more picspam! (Very Gerard-heavy)

Frank accepts the kiss, then pulls back to make an offended face. "Fuck off. Of course it was fucking hot, I'm trying to have a moment here, Gee." The color risen in his cheeks just makes him more embarrassed, and to hell with keeping up appearances or acting manly, he sucks on his lipring a little before saying, "You save me. Just so you know."

Gerard's about to make a comment about 'A Moment? Seriously?' when he hears the rest, and he freezes, blush staining his face, because this is a moment, right here. "Good," he murmurs, smiling faintly. "Glad to hear it."

Frank's not about to wait for the rosepetals to start falling around them and the cellos to rise in the background, but he can't seem to bring himself to move. He traces his thumb along Gerard's jawline before kissing him.

Gerard kisses back, gentle, but on some level he's well aware that they really can't spend all day in bed because, well. They can't stay very long at Brian's, period. But he figures he can make the most of it for now.

Frank is more than a little wondering at the seeming dichotomies in their relationship--tenderness and blood, they aren't anything he's experienced in tandem, and he worries briefly that the emotional complexities of it may be to much for him to grasp. But he ignores all that to run his hand along Gerard's back, and that's all he really needs.

Gerard makes a pleased noise, arching into Frank, and he's torn between getting up and figuring out a way to keep Brian and Mikey both safe while still getting out and just staying here in bed with Frank for a few more hours.

Frank smiles briefly against Gerard's lips, and trails his fingers a little more firmly down to rest them Gerard's lower back. He knows that they should get out of bed, face the world, but he's not going to be the sensible one. If the lazy morning kisses have to stop, Gerard's going to have to be the man to do it.

Gerard leans into them, still kissing Frank slowly, arms wound around Frank's back. It's comfortable--he doesn't have any real need to get up yet (they've fortunately been at Brian's for less than twenty-four hours and it's pretty reasonable to assume there's no danger yet) and Frank is warm.

Frank's never really been in a relationship that had this--lazy kisses and soft touches that could easily lead to something but just as easily fit for just the sake of them--even his most stable of girlfriends had always had to leave for work in the morning. It's nice, and he has the thrilled feeling that he could get used to it.

Just then, there's a knock on the door and they hear Brian's voice call out, "Everyone decent?" It reminds Gerard rather uncannily of his parents.

He has to consider for a moment before calling back, "Hang on."

Frank grumbles when Gerard slides away, but he follows to go pull his jeans on. They're still really grimy, and he wonders if they could use the washing machines in the basement. It would be really nice to have some clean clothes. He opens the door while Gerard is still pulling a T-shirt on, and from the sudden sharp look on Brian's face, he definitely saw the bandage.

Brian takes several deep breaths before asking, tone sharp, "What is that?" He gestures to where the bandage would be, now covered with Gerard's shirt. Gerard looks back at him, trying to give him a calming look. "It's nothing bad, Brian." He hopes Brian actually remembers that it's a thing of his, because he'd assumed (and maybe he was wrong?)

"Nothing--" Brian sounds incredulous, but he cuts off to glare at Frank. "Did you do this to him?"

Frank shifts his weight between his hips and raises his chin, the bratty part of him drawn out. "Yeah, I did." And he begged for it he adds mentally, because as bratty as he feels, he doesn't want to get kicked out or reported.

Brian is about to say something else, kill Frank maybe, when Gerard cuts in. "Yeah. He did. And I asked him to," he says, looking Brian in the eye, trying to explain without actually having to explain. He doesn't want Brian to think Frank did it to him without his permission, like he's under Frank's command or his captive or something.

Brian has his I do not approve face on. "Gerard. It's..." He sighs and squeezes the bridge of his nose like he's trying to stave off a headache. "It's really not safe, Gerard." Not with him is unspoken but obvious.

Frank scowls. "Hey. I take perfectly good care of him. Bandaged him up good, didn't I?"

Brian gives him a dark look, because as much as he'd like to think it was all Gerard's idea, the news has acquainted him with certain of Frank's predilections and he knows it's definitely partly his idea, too.

"Brian, it's okay. I'm fine," Gerard points out, trying to keep the two of them from starting an argument. "I know what I'm doing."

"And so do I," Frank puts in, with his lip curled a little and tone not just a little snide.

Brian folds his arms, definitely parental. "That's what I'm worried about. Even if Gerard asks for it, how do I know I'm not going to come in here one morning and find him sliced up?" He wants to trust Frank, and to an extent, he does. But he also remembers how broken Gerard was, and the last thing he needs is some controlling murderer drawing him into some obsessive thing.

Gerard sighs, scratching at his newly-short hair, frustrated. "I--you're not, okay?" He doesn't know how to get Brian to trust Frank, doesn't know the right thing to say here. So instead, he says, "And I'm not sure about the 'one morning' thing. It isn't safe for you for us to stay here too long." He's not sure if Brian can help them figure out what to do (how to get a car, because Frank's right, they could do much better moving on their own).

Brian leans against the doorframe, expression changing from "I'm concerned about your wellbeing" serious to "We're adults who are planning" serious. That's a great thing about Brian--he's always ready to focus on the situation closest at hand. "Yeah? Where are you guys planning to go next?"

"We're not sure." Frank scrubs a hand across his face. "But we were hoping you might be able to help hook us up with a car."

Brian stares, much in the same way that Gerard did when Frank first suggested it. "A car," he says, tone disbelieving. "I don't have one lying around to give you, you know that." He can see the logic in it, but he's getting stuck in the practical details--namely, where are they going to come up with the money for one?

Gerard looks down at the ground, biting his lip. "We know," he says, after a moment. "But we need to get one."

Brian gives him a look that's strikingly reminiscent of the ones he would always give Gerard when he'd start going off and rambling about how he was going to start a band and it was gonna be so fucking awesome, man, seriously. The "yeah, sure, and how are you making that happen, Gerard?" look. "There are probably plenty for sale, but how are you planning to afford it?"

Frank looks to Gerard for confirmation, then back to Brian. "We thought we might ask Mikey."

Brian looks sharply at Gerard. "Was this your idea or his?" When Gerard says, in a quiet voice, "Mine," Brian almost chokes on air. He knows Gerard's serious about the idea if it's something that could even possibly get Mikey in trouble and he still wants to go through with it.

"Do you want Mikey to get himself arrested for helping you?" he asks, incredulous.

Gerard flinches and mutters, "We wouldn't have to talk to him directly," but he doesn't sound like he believes it.

"You're going to get your brother thrown in jail, Gerard. This isn't like you." Brian doesn't actually say 'are you willing to sacrifice your brother to keep your boyfriend safe?' but he doesn't have to.

Frank bumps Gerard with his hip--if they don't believe in their plan, how will Brian ever be able to? "We could do a phone tag--you call someone who calls someone who calls Mikey. Everyone knows he knows everybody, the cops aren't going to care about some random scene kid."

Gerard doesn't say anything, looking down, arms wrapped around himself protectively, and he feels sick. He doesn't want to do anything to hurt Mikey. Nothing. He just doesn't know what to do, and in the past he always went to Mikey when he needed help.

Brian pauses, considering Frank's offer. "What would we do if they made a connection when the random scene kid asks for help getting a car? They aren't stupid, Frank. You should know that." Even so, the plan has merit--but it risks Mikey, and for that he has no idea if Gerard will actually want to go through with it.
