mwestbelleDoritos are spicier than I remembering them being, and it's not even the spicy kind, just Nacho Cheese flavor. Meh.

I'll hopefully be posting some school for the arts!crack soon...here's a quick snippet to (hopefully) intrigue you a bit.
Pete is a grad student, theoretically. He hasn’t actually started the “applying for programs” thing yet (or even the “deciding what the hell he wants to do with his life” thing). The official school records list him as an intern, though he considers himself as more of a mentor to the impressionable young minds of the CA. Mostly, he draws on himself in Sharpie and monopolizes poetry nights with his stream-of-consciousness free verse. But then there are a couple kids though he takes a real interest in (Not like that, although, yeah actually, sometimes like that, because CA has a totally improbable concentration of hot underage asses. Seriously, there are better looking students here--and more of them--than any other school he’s seen. A study should be done.) Ryan is one of those kids. Pete’s just all around impressed by him; he really wants to help him succeed--it certainly doesn’t hurt that Ryan treats Pete like he invented words. The two of them usually eat lunch together, trying not to drop bits of lettuce on their novels, or just chatting about music, girls, boys, and the world. At least, they do until Pete spots Patrick.
It's mostly all written (Guess who's a ballet dancer? A design student?), I just need to clean it up a bit and finish up a few chunks. It's written in mostly outliney style, because that's easiest for me to build off of later...I'm getting really fond of this 'verse and hope to write someporn ficlets for it in the future :)
Tailbone still hurting like a mother...I know sitting half on a mattress on the floor for over four hours was a bad plan, but jeez, I'm supposed to be young and spry!
In other news, I finally guilted Matt into opening his Invader Zim DVDs, and have been laughing myself silly. ("You have head pigeons." "You don't have any ears! Is that part of your skin condition too?" "He who controls McMeaty's controls the WORLD!") I lent him my copy of JtHM, and I think he might be horribly disturbed now but...oh well.
