I wasn't even going to watch the Inauguration because a) I have class then! and b) I am really not interested in politics. But then my prof let us out early so we could watch, and it is live history, so I went to join the rest of the campus in watching it in Pearson's (sort of like our student union)

It was a really nice speech. I can't say that I hope he delivers on everything he's promised because I personally don't agree with some of it, but I do hope that all the big stuff (the American People stuff, the stuff that matters) can happen, for all of us. I hate how divided people are, and not that anyone really cares, but I just wanted to put out there that even though I can't say I'll always agree with him or even that I won't complain, Obama is my president, and I will support him. Because liberal/conservative/democrat/republican/what have you doesn't matter to me as much as American does.

...that's kind of disgusting now that I read it back, so sorry for the patriotic schmoopfest. Back to our regularly scheduled kink and snarkiness after class (which also got postponed for the Inauguration! Gotta say, B-man is making my first day of classes easy \o/)

Awesome day. I saw Wall-E (I'm bad at movie reviews, I'll just say it's GORGEOUS and ADORABLE and I SOBBED) and now am in a particularly ~schmoopy mood.
