seem to be okay for now only light in the basement is this screen--im in the farthest back corner to keep it from showing outside...idk if theyre smart enough to pick out light, but we dnt want to take chances gotta stay on to try and figure out what's going on radio is dead, cell phones arnt connecting anywhere, i keep refreshing MSN but there isn't a singl fucking story about this, what the hell? Are they tryng to keep people from knowing? or is there nobdy left to upadte it? i don't even know anymore

beau is scared out of his mind, and I don't blame him. He got really upset a few minutes ago, growling and--dogs can sense ghosts, right?hope its not the same with zombies or whtevre thos things are

Nothing like watching your Dad siphon the gas out of your cars just in case he has to power the chainsaw, right?

Got all the big gardening tools (I'm thinking I'll go with rake if I have too, though Juj isn't going to be able to handle much more than pruning shears), and right now I'm hoping that the storms have gotten the ground spongey enough that they won't be able to get up the hill and reach us, at least not before the cops get to them. If the cops are even out anymore, I haven't heard a siren since noon.

Juj and Mum went out shopping this morning, but thankfully they made it home without incident. I'm having a hell of a time getting a hold of my friends, and it's starting to really worry me...how are you guys doing?
